Heman Has the Power .... of Paper

For our art project last week, I told the kids we were making paper dolls. I had in mind those little chains of hand-holding silhouettes that they could draw different outfits and faces on. Isaiah, in his typical creative fashion, said he wanted to make his dolls into Heman characters.
So we spent hours working on them. We made all the major characters, from Heman and Skeletor, to Tela, Man-at-Arms, and Orco. I was thrilled that the kids had so much fun with such an old-fashioned toy: paper dolls!

You are so creative, Rebecca! Isaiah and Charlotte and Eli are lucky kids.

I am super impressed that you know the main characters of Heman :) Your project makes me want to share paper dolls with my girls (me too, iguana!), though ours would probably all end up as princesses :)

Seth introduced the kids to heman, so we watch the cartoons all the time.

They look great. You even got the muscles and the red stompin boots. Looks like fun!
